Claiming “Freedom of Press” (“Freedom of Speech”, etc..) is like claiming “Freedom of Bathroom” if you have to pee while being held hostage during a bank robbery.

Well, think about it. There wouldn’t be a need to claim rights if there weren’t a bunch of guys pointing guns at you who have the power to grant or deny those rights. To talk about “Freedom of Speech” is to ignore and legitimize the gun in the room.
